To make sure your pets coat stays healthy inbetween grooms you can:
- dry and brush their coat out after a muddy walk, this prevents tangles and you can check their coat for foreign objects like grass seeds or thorns.
- make sure you brush your dogs coat regularly with the correct tools.
- never bath a matted dog as this can make the coat worse, always brush out before.
Before you bring your dog for grooming please make sure they have been excercised, or at least had chance to go to the toilet, are fit and well.
If your pet is ill or heavily pregnant, please make sure with your vet that they are safe to groom.
